Human Resource (HR) Officer

Full time | Location: Accra 


Under the guidance of the HR Manager, the position holder would assist in the following functional areas: benefits administration, Employee Relations, Timesheet Management, Onboarding and Offboarding Activities, Policy Implementation, Recruitment Support and General HR Services


  • Maintain healthy employee and industrial relations by handling all issues presented by staff such as grievances, disputes, counselling.
  • Provide support to the HR Manager in delivering the following (i.e. Recruitment, Salary administration).
  • Responsible for the compilation and reporting of all labour statistics to inform decision making in issues pertaining to attendance, sickness, movement, etc.
  • Assist HR Manager to compile payroll inputs and process payroll on monthly basis.
  • Responsible for all welfare facilities such as smooth functioning of staff canteen including coordinating with caterers to provide quality meals.
  • Maintains the HRIS to facilitate easy retrieval of personal data when required and respond rapidly to line management requests for information and advice on staff.
  • Maintain accurate data and update contract with all third-party contractors.
  • Assist the HR Manager to deal with all HR protocols involving traveling, staff enrollment, etc.
  • Coordinate and communicate all monthly meetings including staff durbar and produce regular report accordingly.
  • Onboarding and Offboarding management.
  • Disciplinary procedure management
  • Time sheet management and overtime administration

  • A minimum of first degree in Business Administration (HRM Option) or related.
  • 3 years minimum of work experience in Human Resources Management practice or operations
  • An exposure to the operations of an FMCG
  • A professional certificate will be an added advantage.
