March 7th, 2025 – In commemoration of International Women’s Day, Kasapreko PLC and Equatorial Coca-Cola Bottling Company, Ghana (ECCBC) partnered a transformative workshop, providing local businesswomen and petty traders with the essential skills and knowledge to grow their ventures.
The event featured a series of targeted sessions. Anita Ekua Mensah delivered key insights on food and health safety, ensuring quality standards, while Belinda Kanda highlighted essential personal hygiene practices. The People Management workshop, facilitated by Deborah Mensah provided attendees with creative techniques for creating cohesive teams and driving corporate growth.
Additionally, a presentation was given on the significance of digital engagement and how social media has become the primary sales channel. Susan Shika Gbedemah addressed this session by emphasizing the fundamentals of digital marketing, teaching participants how to use specific social apps on their phones to boost their business presence online and drive sales.
The true highlight of the day was the hands-on soap-making workshop, where Mrs. Irene Thompson guided participants through crafting simple liquid soap practical skills that open doors to additional income opportunities.
To further support Women’s economic empowerment, 10 participants who actively contributed during the sessions received capital support to invest in their businesses. This initiative reinforces Kasapreko PLC and ECCBC’s commitment to #AccelerateAction, fostering a culture of equality, promoting women’s leadership and inspiring change.
