Kasapreko Partners with GIZ to support Bonuama community

Kasapreko PLC, in collaboration with the German Development Cooperation (GIZ), has generously donated an ultramodern ambulance to the Bonuama Polyclinic, the largest healthcare facility in the Wassa Amenfi Central Municipality, which was constructed by Philanthropist Dr. Kwabena Adjei, Group Chairman of Kasapreko PLC.

This significant contribution aims to enhance healthcare access for thousands of residents in the Bonuamah community and surrounding areas, including Pensanom, Wirekokrom, and Nkakaa. In attendace were prominent figures from the Amenfi District who have actively contributed to the growth of the Bonuama community.

During a free health screening event organized for the community, Mr. Richard Ajei, CEO of Kasapreko, emphasized the critical role of their partnership with GIZ in supporting underserved communities. He highlighted the importance of the health screening initiative in promoting well-being and announced the donation of a 53,000-liter water storage facility as part of the company’s “One4Life” charity project for the Awake Purified Water brand. Furthermore, Dr. Holger Till, Team Lead of develoPPP at GIZ, reiterated their commitment to sustainable development and emphasized the significance of the ambulance in providing swift emergency response.

Dr. Yaw Ofori Yeboah, Western Regional Health Director, expressed gratitude for the donations, emphasizing their positive impact on community well-being. However, he also called attention to the need for infrastructure development, particularly the construction of the Bonuamah road, to further enhance healthcare delivery.

The donation ceremony also saw recognition of Kasapreko Group Chairman, Kwabena Adjei, by the Amenfi Central Health Directorate, lauding his selfless commitment to improving healthcare access and his innovative approaches to community welfare.
